These terms govern your use of Fakt (the "app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
Fakt lets you discover, save, and submit interesting facts, track a daily activity streak, and play trivia-based games with other users. Facts submitted by the community go through a review process before appearing in the public feed.
We make a genuine effort to verify facts before publishing them, but Fakt is provided for entertainment and informational purposes. We do not guarantee that every fact shown in the app is complete, current, or free of error, and you shouldn't rely on it as your sole source for anything important. If you spot something inaccurate, you can report it in the app.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be old enough to use the app under the laws of your country, and in any case not under 13.
When you submit a fact, comment, or other content, you confirm it's either your own original contribution or something you have the right to share, and you grant us a licence to display, distribute, and moderate it within the app. Content that's published to the public feed may remain visible even if you later delete your account, though it won't be linked back to you.
You agree not to submit content that is:
Be respectful. Harassment, hate speech, impersonation, spam, and attempts to manipulate streaks, leaderboards, or games are not allowed. You can block or report other users directly in the app. We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion.
Fakt may offer optional premium subscriptions through in-app purchase. Where available, pricing, billing, and cancellation are handled through the Apple App Store under Apple's standard subscription terms — we don't process your payment details ourselves.
The Fakt app, its design, and its branding are our property or that of our licensors. You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the licence you grant us above.
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on any content within it.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
